Completing identification online

You can complete identification online, if:

  • you're a client of SberBank and have access to SberBank Online,

  • your wallet is linked to a Russian MTS, beeline, or Megafon number (the SIM card is not a corporate one and you are its registered owner),

  • you have a verified Gosuslugi account,

  • you have already completed identification for another wallet.

For the clients of SberBank of Russia

Who can apply: citizens of the Russian Federation who own a SberBank card (and have access to SberBank Online).

Cost: free of charge.

Time required: several minutes.

  1. Proceed to the form for identification via Sber ID on the YooMoney website.

  2. Click "Proceed via Sber ID".

  3. Confirm that you allow YooMoney access to data.

  4. If everything is in order, you will automatically return to the YooMoney website. There's a chance that we'll need more data for identification, and you'll need to fill in one or several more fields (have you passport at hand just in case).

  5. All you need to do is complete the identification: double check the information and confirm that everything is correct.

If you find an error, contact our support service.

The identification must be confirmed within 7 days from the moment the notification appeared in the wallet. Otherwise, you will have to start over (by opening the form).

Via Gosuslugi

Who can apply: citizens of the Russian Federation who have a verified Gosuslugi account.

Cost: free of charge.

Time required: several minutes.

  1. Proceed to the page for identification via Gosuslugi on the YooMoney website.

  2. Select "Sign in via Gosuslugi" and log in to your Gosuslugi account in the opened window.

  3. Enter the date of birth as specified in your passport.

  4. Enter your actual or registered address.

  5. All you need to do is complete the identification: double check the information and confirm that everything is correct.

If you find an error, contact our support service.

The identification must be confirmed within 7 days from the moment the notification appeared in the wallet. Otherwise, you will have to start over.

Via MTS or MegaFon

Who can apply: citizens of the Russian Federation who use an MTS or MegaFon SIM card issued in Russia (with a non-corporate number linked to the wallet).

Cost: 85 ₽.

Time required: several minutes.

  1. Proceed to the form for identification in YooMoney.

  2. You will see the phone number linked to the wallet. If everything is correct, click "Proceed to payment".

  3. Pay 85 ₽ from your wallet or bank card.

  4. Confirm that you agree to share your passport details.

  5. Enter the text message code sent to your phone number.

  6. Fill in the missing details (have you passport at hand just in case).

  7. All that's left is to check the details and confirm your identification if everything is correct.

Via beeline

Who can apply: citizens of the Russian Federation over 18 years old who use a beeline Russia SIM card (with a non-corporate number linked to the wallet).

Cost: 60 ₽.

Time required: several minutes.

  1. Proceed to the form for identification via beeline on the YooMoney website.

  2. You will see the phone number linked to the wallet. If everything is correct, click "Proceed to payment".

  3. Pay 60 ₽ (from your wallet or bank card).

  4. Next, proceed to beeline for passport details by clicking OK.

  5. You'll receive a text message notification from beeline (it's important that your phone screen isn't locked): confirm that you allow YooMoney access to data.

  6. Fill in the missing details (have you passport at hand just in case).

  7. All you need to do is complete the identification: double check the information and confirm that everything is correct.

Identification copying

Who can apply: any users with an identified YooMoney wallet.

Cost: free of charge.

Time required: several minutes.

How it works: you copy details from an identified account to your other account. The original account preserves its status.

  1. Sign in to your identified account.

  2. Specify in the form where the details should be copied to.

  3. Confirm the action with a password.

After that, log in to the other wallet. You will see this message on the main screen:

Click the button, check the details, and confirm that everything is correct.

You can copy your identification a limited number of times: one passport can only be used for identifying a maximum of 3 wallets.

The identification must be confirmed within 7 days from the moment the notification appeared in the wallet. Otherwise, you will have to start over (by sending the request at the YooMoney website).
