Yandex.Checkout provides online prepayments for MINI Cooper S–partnering with BMW Group Russia

Collaborating with Yandex.Checkout, MINI online showroom has launched online prepayments for MINI Cooper S cars in Russia. The exclusive MINI Collection 25 is now available for booking and prepayment via a bank card without additional fee. Previously online preorder of MINI Cooper S cars had been launched in the UK and South Korea, and now MINI offers this opportunity to customers in Russia.

MINI online showroom cooperates with a number of MINI dealers in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Krasnodar. To preorder a MINI COOPER S 3-door, a customer needs to choose a unique number of a car from MINI Collection 25 via the website, then to fill out contact information, date and address of the dealer center convenient for getting a car. 25 thousand rubles (approximately $400) is enough for booking, the rest sum is paid in the dealer center before delivery of the desired car.

MINI Collection 25 is a limited series of MINI Cooper S 3-door cars in Pure Burgundy colour and with LED door projector of serial number (from 1 to 25). The exclusive collection counts for 769 cars worldwide, 25 of them are for sale in Russia.

Partnership between BMW Group Russia and Yandex.Checkout reflects the expanding trend of preordering and selling cars online. Yandex.Checkout has been providing customers with such an opportunity since January 2017. According to the latest data by Yandex.Checkout, in the first six months of 2018 number of customers prepaying cars online via Yandex.Checkout has increased by 20% in comparison with the same period of 2017.
