Currency accounts

Payments in foreign currencies are only available for "Mir" cards

You can pay in Russia and the countries where "Mir" cards are accepted. You can withdraw cash in the aforementioned countries but not in Russia: the option is not available yet. It's also not possible to pay in currency or withdraw it from our other cards at this time. As soon as the situation changes, we will notify you.
You can still exchange currency and transfer it to other wallets.

You can start a currency account immediately after identification: on the website, click on your profile and select "Account managing", in the app, tap "Apps" on the main screen. To currency accounts

Currency payments and purchases

Once the "Multicurrency cards" package (99 ₽ / mon) is activated, you can spend money from the currency account using any YooMoney "Mir" card. The option covers Russia and the list of countries where "Mir" cards are accepted. You can also withdraw cash in the aforementioned countries but not yet in Russia.

The card switches to the required currency automatically

All you need to do is open all necessary accounts in advance.

If you buy something in Kazakhstan, money will be debited in tenge. If you place an order on a Belarusian website a minute after that, the card is going to know that money now should be debited in belarusian rubles.

Two cases when rubles will be debited anyway:

  • If the payment kiosk at the store (or ATM) is configured so that it debits money from the ruble account and converts the currency at its own rate.

  • The store uses the MCC of money transfers.

Cashback in bonus points

5% in points in categories of the month, up to 1% for other payments.

Cashback isn't calculated based on the amount in currency but based on the equivalent amount in rubles in accordance with the rates of the Central Bank of Russia. If you spend less than 3,000 ₽, there will be no cashback the following month.

Pay even when you don't have the required amount in currency

For example, you need to pay 5,000 tenge but you only have 4,000 tenge (or nothing at all). In this case, the required amount will be exchanged automatically (from rubles), and the payment will go through (in case there's enough money in your ruble account, of course).
