To another bank (via FPS)

Using the Faster Payments System (FPS), identified users can send money by phone number. Check your user status

How to make a transfer via FPS in the YooMoney app

  1. In the app for Android, go to "Payments" in the bottom menu (in the app for iOS, this section is called "Catalog").

  2. In the "Transfer" section, select "By phone number".

  3. Enter the recipient's phone number or select it from the contact list.

  4. Tap on "Another bank."

  5. A list of banks that support FPS will appear: select the one where the recipient has an account (otherwise the money won't be sent).

  6. Specify the amount.

  7. Confirm the transfer.

How to make a transfer if the YooMoney app isn't available

First method: via the mobile YooMoney version for iOS

  1. Open "Transfers" and select "To other bank".

  2. Enter the recipient's phone number, then tap "Next".

  3. Select a recipient's bank, enter amount, and proceed to confirmation.

  4. Check the recipient's details and confirm the transfer.

Second method: by enabling payments without confirmation in YooMoney settings

  1. Go to the settings

  2. Select the bank you need and toggle the switch.

  3. Go to your bank's app.

  4. Go to adding money from another bank account, select YooMoney from the list, enter the amount, and click "Add money".

Limits and fees

Limits: up to 3,500 ₽ at a time and a day. If you reach the daily limit, you will be able to make a new transfer after 12 AM (Moscow time). The monthly limit is up to 100,000 ₽. No commission is charged.

These limits apply to all of your wallets. For example, if you've already made a transfer of 1,500 ₽ from one of them today, you'll be able to send up to 2,000 ₽ from any others.

Daily limit on transfers can be increased to 30,000 ₽ or 100,000 ₽ by enabling a special feature. The monthly limit remains 100,000 ₽ per month.

Transfer denied

If the system asks you to check the banking details (and the transfer is denied), it means the recipient doesn't have an account in the bank or payment system you selected. Specify which bank to send the transfer to and try again.
