Cashback points from YooMoney can be earned for online and offline payments (such as at a store checkout). From 1% to 5%, depending on the selected categories.
Check if you have cashback enabled
You can spend instant cashback immediately and almost at any places where you pay with a wallet. 1 bonus point = 1 ₽.
Please note: you need to spend more than 3,000 ₽ per month in order to earn cashback. If you spend less, you won't receive cashback the following month.
Maximum cashback per month: 3,000 points.
You can earn cashback in rubles from the Mir payment system only if you have a Mir card. Sign up on the "Privet!" website and start getting up to 30% of the purchase amount back in rubles.
Card settings and PIN
Navigate to the "Bank Cards" section and click on your card (or the "Edit" button).
You will see the page with the settings, where you can change the PIN, disable online payments, and inform our security service about a trip abroad.
PIN is required at ATMs and sometimes at checkouts. If you enter it incorrectly 3 times in a row, the card will be blocked: change the PIN in the card settings to unblock the card.
You can disable the options that you don't use, either temporary or permanently.
For example: you give the card to your child for everyday purchases and deactivate cash withdrawal and transfers (then reactivate the options once you take the card back).
All adjustments come into effect immediately.
In the YooMoney app, specify the country and dates of your trip: our security service will know this is you paying abroad.
Notifications apply to all transactions in your wallet (not just transactions made with your bank card). You can manage them under your wallet settings
We send payment receipts and other service messages to your email address for free.
Text message notifications cost 99 ₽ per month (699 ₽ per year).
Payments outside of Russia and currency conversion
Important: check which countries accept the Mir card. It doesn't work in some of them.
Tell us about your trip in advance under your card settings. If today you buy a sandwich in Moscow and tomorrow you buy boots in Yerevan, it looks as if the card data has been stolen. In such a case, our security service might block the card to protect it. If we see the marking, we won't have to worry.
Viewing card settings: navigate to the "Bank Cards" section and click on your card.
If you are an anonymous user, you can only pay with your card in Russia.
The pre-issued card works only in Russia in general.
You can pay and withdraw cash in another country only with a Mir card, if you are a reviewed or identified user
All payments with ruble cards in currency will be made at the payment system rate + 2.9%. You can enable multicurrency support and get almost the same rate as on the exchange market.
You need to inform us of your trips when you leave the country where you ordered your card.
YooCard is in rubles but you can activate the multicurrency cards package: that's 5 more currencies in addition to rubles.
With the package: you buy currency at the rate similar to that of the exchange market. No additional commission is charged. The card switches between accounts automatically and exchanges additional amounts to currency if there's not enough of it for payment.
The main thing is to have an account opened in the required currency. If you don't have one, rubles will be debited by an increased exchange rate (as if without a package).
Without the package: when you pay in foreign currency, we convert the amount to rubles at the rate of the payment system + 2.9%, not less than 25 ₽. The exchange rate depends on your card.
If the seller converts the amount by their own rate (you're shopping at a non-Russian store but the prices are set in rubles), the commission of 2.9% (but not less than 25 ₽) will be added to it.
When you pay on non-Russian websites, you may be asked to provide supplementary information in addition to bank details.
Billing Address is your home address.
Address 1 is your house number, apartment number, street. For example: 1/11 Moskovskaya Street.
Address 2 is optional. You can specify the district if your city has several streets with the same name.
State is your county or state. For example: Moscow Region or Moskovskaya Oblast.
ZIP or Postal Code is your zip code.
Problems with the card: what to do if...
Something's wrong with delivery
The tracking number isn't assigned right away but a few days later, when the card reaches the postal service. As soon as the tracking number is assigned:
we send it to you via email,
it'll be displayed on the new card's page in the app,
a tracking link will be displayed in the Bank cards section on the website: use it to check the shipment status on the Russian Post's website.
If the card has already been shipped but you still haven't received the tracking number, contact us via chat. (You need to sign in to YooMoney).
We can't speed up the process, it depends on the Russian Post (and local delivery services if you're abroad).
To find out where the card is at the moment, follow the delivery using the tracking number on the Russian Post's website. If you're outside of Russia, you can check the status in your delivery service or on websites for tracking international deliveries.
If tracking doesn't work, and the card was shipped over 10 days ago (20 days if you're outside of Russia), contact us via chat (you need to be signed in to YooMoney).
The Russian Post keeps the card for 30 days, then it's sent back. If you can't visit the post office, you can order delivery to your home address. If you live outside of Russia, contact your country's delivery service to learn how fast the card can be delivered and what the terms and conditions are.
If you couldn't pick up the card in time, contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney). We'll see what we can do.
Contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney). We'll see what we can do.
The card has been lost
If you've already activated the card, cancel it immediately: the "Cancel" button is located in the "Bank Cards" section. If you cannot cancel your YooMoney card by yourself, call us or contact us via the feedback form at the bottom of the page.
If your lost card has not been activated yet, you don't need to take any immediate measures. But you still need to inform us about the incident via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney).
After that, you'll be able to order a new card at any moment.
The card is about to expire
The card is valid until the last day of the month specified as part of the expiration date: for example, if it states 03/27, then the last day is March 31, 2027. Exception: if the expiration date is March 2022 and the following months. We've renewed such cards and will send a separate notification about it.
You can reissue the physical card a few weeks before it expires under the "Cards" section. It is better to order a new card in advance so that it will be delivered in time.
The process is the same as when you order a card with delivery, and you can even choose a new color. Once you activate the new card, the old one will stop working (this only applies to reissued cards; if you just ordered a second one, both will work).
New card has new details. If you've linked your old card to, for example, a food delivery service or an app store, you will need to add the new one.
Payment by card failed
First, make sure you're entering payment details correctly (card number, CVC/CVV/CVP2, and text message code). If everything is correct but the payment still wouldn't go through:
Check the card settings. You might've disabled this payment method (in this case, just change the settings).
Check your user status in YooMoney: available features depend on the status. For example, the single payment limit for an anonymous user is 15,000 ₽. Besides that, such users can't pay with their cards outside of Russia or complete payments on any foreign websites.
If you have another problem, call us: get ready to give your card number, timeframe, and payment amount. Or contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney).
Problems with withdrawing money at ATMs
If the ATM you're trying to use isn't broken (if it allows withdrawing money from other cards):
Check your user status. If it's anonymous, you won't be able to withdraw cash. If you have a higher user status, you might've reached the limit (5,000 ₽ per day and 40,000 ₽ per month for reviewed users, 100,000 ₽ per transaction and 1.3 million ₽ per month for identified users).
Check the card settings. You might've disabled withdrawing cash: in this case, just change the settings.
The ATM might have a limit on cash withdrawn from one card that you reached (you can contact the bank to find out the amount). Try withdrawing money at an ATM of a different bank.
If you have another problem, call us: get ready to give your card number and the timeframe for when you tried to withdraw money. Or contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney).
