YooMoney payment sticker

It's the same physical card but smaller in size. You can put the sticker on your phone and make payments in one touch.

Apart from this, the sticker works just like our regular physical card: it's valid for five years (you pay once for servicing), has a shared balance with your wallet, and may be delivered by post. Learn more about the YooMoney physical card

How to order and receive a sticker

The sticker can be ordered in a few moments on the website or in the app, in the "Cards" section.

To order a sticker in the app, you need to:

  1. In the "Cards" section, select "Issue physical card"

  2. Find the design with a sticker (the black one with a gray corner) and tap on it

  3. Then it's the standard procedure: specify your details and confirm the order.

Delivery by post within Russia and around the world

The sticker will be sent to you within 3 business days after the order. Other terms depend on the Russian Post. You'll be provided with a special number to track the delivery.

If the sticker is on the way but you haven't received a tracking number, contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney).

When the sticker is delivered, pick it up at the post office: find the nearest post office. If you get a notice of delivery, take it with you. If you didn't get the notice, bring your passport to the post office.

Delivery by courier

So far, this option is available in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and other cities.

  • Delivery works on weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • On delivery day, keep your phone at hand and don't turn off the door phone so that the courier can contact you and give you the sticker

  • Get your passport ready: the courier will check the full name on the envelope to make sure it's for you

When the sticker is received, you need to activate it

How to activate

The sticker needs to be activated in your wallet: after this, you'll be able to pay and withdraw money.

Sign in to the wallet, the one where you ordered the sticker: you won't be able to activate it in a different wallet.

Open the activation page (you can always find the link in the paper letter with the card). If you're in the app, tap "Bank cards" at the bottom of the home screen, then "Activate card". After that, you need to:

  1. Enter the sticker number (it's written on the physical card).

  2. Create a PIN that you'll use at payment kiosks and ATMs.

Where to put a sticker

  • On the back of the phone: at the bottom or to the right of the camera. If your phone has a thick case, put the sticker on the case.

  • On a keychain, tablet, or any other item that is always at hand.

How to put it on

  1. Press the sticker out of the plastic card

  2. Remove the protective film from its reverse side

  3. Press the adhesive part of the sticker against the surface

Note: if you use a wireless charger or wallet case, check first to see if the sticker will interfere with them.

How to pay with a sticker

Online: by banking details. Card number, expiration date, and CVP2 are stored on the YooMoney website and in the app. They are also written on the plastic card where the sticker is attached.

In offline stores: as with a physical card. Tap your phone with the sticker against the reader and wait for a sound.

Money is always debited from your wallet, and payments are recorded to wallet's history.

Withdrawing cash

If you've reviewed your wallet or completed identification, you can withdraw money from any NFC-compatible ATM. Just tap your phone against the reader and enter your PIN. The commission is 3%, but not less than 100 ₽.

Problems with a payment sticker: what to do if...

Payment incomplete

Tap your phone or any other item with a sticker against the top of the reader one more time, and wait for it to read the sticker. Sometimes the payment may not work on the first attempt. If this doesn't help, the problem may be with the reader. In this case, you need to pay with your card (it's better to have it at hand).

You can't pay with a sticker on public transport

Metro, bus, and streetcar passengers sometimes have problems with payment. We haven't figured out how to solve them yet. Be sure to bring a physical card on your trip.

Contactless payment on the phone is activated

If you have an iOS device, remove all bank cards from Apple Pay. If you have an Android device, disable contactless payment in the settings.

The sticker was accidentally removed

You can put it back on the same phone or another device. There is an additional adhesive layer in the sticker set for this purpose.

The sticker got lost

Freeze or block the sticker in the YooMoney app or on the website.
