Google Pay
You can't pay with this method
For now, Mir Pay is the only contactless payment method available: to use it, you need a Mir card and an NFC-compatible Android™ device with the OS version 7.0 or later. This is how you can pay in Russia and other countries where Mir cards are accepted and Mir Pay is available.
You can also use our solution for Android: it's currently available only in Russia.
Add our card to Google Pay, and you'll be able to use it for payments in supermarkets, at cafes, and in online stores with your phone.
Requirements
YooMoney card, either virtual (issued instantly) or physical (delivered by mail or courier).
An NFC-compatible Android device with the OS version 4.4 or later.
Adding a card to Google Pay
Install and open the Google Pay app.
Click the plus icon at the bottom of the page, then Add card.
Specify your YooMoney card details.
Enter the code from the text message.
If the device is connected to Android Wear 2.0 (or a later version), add the card there as well:
Access Google Pay through the watch and click Start.
Cards already added to Google Pay will be displayed on the screen of the connected device. Click the YooMoney card, and it will be added to your watch.
The card that was added to Google Pay first becomes the "default card": money for all purchases will be debited from this card. You can change the default card by clicking on another card's image in Google Pay, then the Default card button.
Paying with your phone
In stores and at cafes
Unlock the device and hold it near the reader. Wait for the reader to make a sound, then take the phone away: the payment is successful.
Online
Click the "Buy" button with the Google Pay logo and confirm the payment from the device where contactless payments are enabled.
Issues with phone or card
Phone is lost
If there's a chance it might fall into the wrong hands, block your device via Find My Device (sign in with your Google Play details).
If you have a new SIM card, don't forget to change the phone number linked to YooMoney.
Payment isn't coming through
Possible reasons:
the reader doesn't accept contactless payments,
not enough money in your wallet; you need to add money to it,
you've reached one of YooMoney limits,
NFC mode in the phone is disabled: you can check it in the phone's settings,
you're paying somewhere outside of Russia and your user status is anonymous; in this case, you need to upgrade it.
If none of these reasons apply, contact us via chat (you need to sign in to YooMoney).
The card has expired
Remove the old card from Google Pay. Issue a new card on our website or in the app, then add it to your phone.
I forgot my PIN
Simply change it in the "Bank Cards" section on the YooMoney website or in the app.
